The headline count spans different locations

The 25 October advertised market contains 655 electric passenger cars. Seller-stated locations include 416 in Tbilisi, 77 in transit, 51 in Japan and 21 in Batumi. A further 90 advertisements carry other locations.

That places 128 of these offers in the two explicitly labelled Japan and in-transit groups. The search result may be relevant to a Georgia-bound buyer while the car is still travelling or advertised abroad. Availability for an immediate inspection is therefore a separate question from whether the price fits the search.

Below $10,000, clearance changes the shortlist

There are 143 electric-car advertisements priced from $2,000 to $9,999. Of these, 29 are advertised as cleared and 114 await clearance. The cleared share in this price band is 20.3%.

At $10,000–14,999, the reading contains 47 cleared EVs and 72 awaiting clearance. Together, these make 119 offers. A higher asking-price band brings a different clearance balance, while each vehicle still needs its own location and documentation check.

Location and clearance answer different questions

Location says where the seller advertises the car; clearance says how the offer is described for customs purposes. Read both together. A Tbilisi location can accompany an uncleared vehicle, while an in-transit offer needs a delivery timetable before an inspection can be planned.

Ask for the car’s present location, the documents identifying it and the handover point. For a travelling car, ask which transport stages are included in the quote and how any remaining charges are allocated. A written timetable and itemized quote make offers easier to compare across these different locations.

Make the low-price comparison vehicle-specific

An EV shortlist should place the asking price, clearance position and inspection arrangements alongside the vehicle’s model, age and battery information. Request the evidence supporting the stated condition and arrange a specialist check that fits the vehicle. Treat inspection access as part of the practical value of an offer.

The 29 cleared EVs below $10,000 provide a narrower starting shortlist for that combination of requirements than the 143-price-band headline alone. For buyers willing to wait for transport or complete clearance, the remaining offers form a different set of options. Choose the delivery and inspection conditions first, then compare the actual cars within that scope.
